We came to Siesta Key for vacation and went home 2 weeks later with a new house contracted for in The Cascades in Sarasota . The best thing about the whole process was having Larry Cushing as our agent. We left Sarasota 4 days after our offer was accepted.We. Would not return for 3 months Larry told us not to worry that he would take care of everything and believe me he is a man who keeps his word. He made sure personally that all the little things in the contract were taken care of. He personally was there with the handyman. He personally found a roofer to fix tiles on roof before an expected storm occurred. He was there to see it was done properly. He was there personally when the home inspector went through the house and made sure all things noted were fixed. He led us to an insurance agent who wrote our policies. He was there for closing in our absence.All documents leading up to this were sent by esign in a timely matter . All orchestrated by Larry. As you can see the process does not end when the contracts are signed. Larry becomes a part of the family and watches over the details.He personally set the thermostat in the house and shut off the water outside when our return was delayed for a month. Without Larry things would not have run as smoothly as they did. I trusted him with the keys to the house and he checked regularly to make sure all was ok even to the extent of doing video call walk throughs with us. We have lived in the same house in Memphis 54 yrs so we knew nothing about buying a house today. Without Larry ,a man of his word, we would have been lost. Larry is not just an agent . He is a friend as we have gotten to know his whole family. Deals get done and contracts get written but you need someone like Larry to be there for you. And people like Larry are rarely found today
